This mobile application is unique in that it allows the user to search for non-toxic products in two different ways.
1. You can scan the label and identify toxic ingredients in the product.
2. You can select the ingredients you want to exclude from a search that will identify products that meet your search criteria.

This mobile application now has the ability to take a picture and decode personal care product ingredients labels identifying over 15 toxic ingredients commonly found in personal care products. Check as many products as you like, the application is free to use. Use it while at the store to help decide the best products for you. Ingredients identified from product label decode: Acrylates, Benzenes, BHA/BHT, Carbon Black/Coal Tar Dye, Ethanolamine, Formaldehyde, Fragrance, PABA, Parabens, PEG/PPG, Petroleum/Petroleum/Jelly, Phthalates, Silicones/Siloxanes, Sulfate, Triclosan, Toluene, Hydroquinone, Oxybenzone. Use it at home to check whats in your products. Take it to the store with you to help decide the most appropriate products to purchase. 
This mobile application also allows the user to search for personal care products based on category then refine their search based on known toxic ingredients. Those toxic ingredients are then excluded from the results. The search results will display a list of products matching the search criteria as well as a link to the product on Amazon.com or another site to purchase a specific product.
This mobile application will also display a list of the Chemicals of Concern as reported by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The user can also display a list of Lower Risk Products that do not contain any of the toxic chemicals that are in our databases.
Another function of this mobile application allows the user to enter the first three letters (for lookup function) of a chemical compound (usually found on a personal care product ingredients list) and search the PubChem databases for data related to that particular ingredient. Links directly to that chemicals information are available through the mobile application for topic areas: Summary Overview, Classification, Safety & Hazards Info., First Aid Measures, EPA Toxicity Data, Health Data, Environmental Data, Synonyms.
